
YPF’s President , Pablo González, highlighted the company’s 2022 closure “with an investment of u$s 4,100 million and a total production growth of 9%, the highest in the last 25 years”, during a meeting between representatives of the Argentine hydrocarbons sector and the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholtz, who is visiting the country.
González stated that “by 2023, the company’s investments will exceed 5 billion dollars, which will allow it to continue with the growth agenda”.
During the meeting, they have analyzed Argentina’s potential as an energy producer on a global scale based on the resources it has in Vaca Muerta and the possibility of exporting it as LNG, and discussed renewable energies and lithium in Argentina.
