Allocation for works

The provincial government of Santa Fe, Argentina, announced the allocation of eight new road works for seven departments, with investments of ARG$60,540 million (about US$335 million). Thus, the administration of Governor Omar Perotti will seek the promotion of works in Rosario, San Justo, San Javier, Vera, Castellanos, Constitución and General López, including a total of 195 kilometers to be intervened.

“There is a huge potential throughout the province that must be put in full production capacity. This will be achieved with investments from the public sector generating roots, motivating private investors, and moving forward to a higher level of commitment to each area,” Perotti highlighted.

He pointed out that “we are going to leave a much better equipped province, with the basic infrastructure necessary to improve production and the quality of people’s lives. It is necessary to have a comprehensive look because growth opportunities for development and rooting are necessary”, concluded Perotti.

STRATEGIC WORKS

Regarding the allocated works, the general administrator of the Provincial Directorate of Roads (DPV), Oscar Ceschi, pointed out that “each work hierarchizes regions. In this case, we are covering seven departments. For instance, in the coastal area of the department of Rosario we are going to build a highway crossing five locations; in highway 90, a very old route will be transformed into a safe one or two extensive stabilized roads to avoid isolation and support production. These are strategic works we are facing, due to the decision of Governor Perotti, Those were communicated in October, put out to bid in November and, in the coming days, presented for signature”, he indicated.
